Over 1,000 Young People Across Shropshire Participate in Successful Summer HAF Programmes
4 All Foundation is delighted to announce that more than 1,000 young people across Shropshire took part in our Summer HAF (Holiday Activities and Food) programmes. The initiative, designed to provide children and young people with engaging activities and nutritious meals during the school holidays, was a resounding success, reaching communities across the region.
From Madeley to Market Drayton, Sutton Hill to Whitchurch, and several other areas including Stirchley, Woodside, Selattyn, and Shrewsbury, the programmes offered a variety of enriching experiences. Participants enjoyed a wide range of activities, from sports and arts to educational workshops, all while receiving balanced meals to support their health and well-being.
The overwhelming response from the community underscores the importance of such programmes in fostering positive development, combating holiday hunger, and ensuring that every young person has the opportunity to thrive.
"We are incredibly proud of the impact our Summer HAF programmes have had across Shropshire," said George Hounsell, Director of Community at 4 All Foundation. "Seeing the joy and enthusiasm of the young people who participated is a testament to the power of community and the importance of providing support during the school holidays."
The success of this summer's programme would not have been possible without the dedication of our staff, volunteers, and community partners. We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who contributed to making this initiative a success.
